‘ Bolt City 2026’
Our film is set in the utopian world of Bolt City, where e-bikers, ride-hailers, and sustainable couriers rule the road—a vision sparked by Markus Villig’s founding principles when Bolt launched just over 12 years ago.
As our riders move through the city, the places they visit and people they pass become lit up by a new vision for the future—one rooted in progress, drive and inclusivity. While Bolt is a modern tech company, the services it offers—ride-hailing, micromobility, and food and parcel delivery—are all rooted in long-standing, human needs: The present meeting the past. This marriage provides the inspiration for the aesthetic and tone of our film.
Our voiceover will be made up of several different voices, each representing a key market in which Bolt operates. Combined with a compelling script, they will deliver a new manifesto that feels as powerful as it does human.
Though unconventional, our film aims to wholly engage an audience who, like most of us, are burdened with an endless array of bland corporate content with interchangeable buzz words and colourless frames. With an average team age of just 31, the attention spans in the room will be fragile and our ultimate mission will be to earn and keep that attention with something as inspiring as it is unexpected.
